On September 29, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on European Integration Naira Zohrabyan met with the representatives of the Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities NGO. This organization functioning in Vanadzor is involved with the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities and their interests.

The Committee Chair Naira Zohrabyan has noted that the Committee led by her designs to present amendments to the RA law on the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Their Social Inclusion and urged the members of the organization to present recommendations. In Mrs Zohrabyan’s word, within the framework of the RA-EU comprehensive and Enhanced New Agreement conceptual problems on the inclusion of the socially vulnerable layers are discussed.

The guests introduced the activities of their organization and the framework of the problems demanding solution. Naira Zohrabyan underlined that within her liabilities she would support their solution and present concrete proposals.

During the meeting the sides touched upon the accessible conditions for the persons with disabilities, the creation of jobs, the provision of full education and other issues.
